India Wine Awards 2023 is raising a toast to excellence highlighting our continuing pursuit of recognising the latest distinctive wines available in the country. We are excited to continue our valued partnership with ProWine Mumbai – the leading spirit and wine trade fair in India as the host for our Awards Gala Dinner. With each year, IWA furthers the wine culture and celebrates personalities whose allegiance has taken the wine industry to new heights. And last but not least, the Indian wine enthusiasts get to cast their vote to applaud the work being done by India’s hospitality and retail sector.

IWA Program : This Is How We Celebrate The Best Wines In India

Jury Tasting

The country’s largest blind tasting event that brings together the most esteemed and qualified wine experts of India, who know exactly what consumers are looking for and what works in the Indian market.

Awards Gala Dinner

A starry invite-only celebratory dinner hosted by IWA Chairperson Sonal C Holland MW at ProWine Mumbai where the award winning wines are recognised and honoured amidst the alco-bev trade and hospitality professionals over drinks and dinner at the Jio World Convention Centre. What’s more is that these wines will also be showcased at the IWA Pavilion at the ProWine Mumbai exhibition allowing attendees the opportunity to taste and recognise the award winning wines.

IWA Flavour Fest

With each edition, IWA adds to the excitement! Building on the previous year’s Flavour Fest edition, we will create a series of experiential events for consumers that will showcase the award winning wines and the wineries across India to build the wine culture in our country.

We are excited to showcase India’s wine and hospitality industry achievements from the past year. Our aim remains to empower consumer choices, to enable the trade to market their wines with confidence and, to give winning brands an enviable advantage in the marketplace. We remain steadfast in delivering this tremendous value in every edition.


A truly world-class competition, IWA not only awards excellence in wines but also rewards the people and institutions who have shaped the wine culture in India with their tireless efforts and creative energy, thus bringing the entire ambit of India’s AlcoBev industry under its scope. The India Wine Awards is the only competition in the country that conducts the largest tasting of in-market domestic and international wines and this year, we would like to acknowledge India Wine Awards’ 50 Best Places to Drink with your help.

It gives me great pride to share that all the importers and wine producers in the country come on board and nominate their wines every year. I applaud the entire Indian wine industry for all your unwavering support. I am heartened that this not only reinforces the resurgence of optimism in the country’s wine industry but also your belief in the India Wine Awards as the most authoritative, respected and influential wine competition in the region.
